We make every effort to honor donor preferences. When contributions are designated for a specific country, project, or initiative, MMC directs the funds accordingly.

However, if circumstances change-such as a project being completed, restricted by regulations, or no longer requiring funding-MMC reserves the right to redirect donations to other urgent programs that serve vulnerable communities. This ensures that every donation continues to create meaningful impact where it is most needed.

Donation Refund Policy

Can a Charity Refund a Donation?

Under Canadian charitable law, once a donation is made, ownership legally transfers to the charity, and refunds are generally not permitted. All funds must be used exclusively for MMC’s charitable objectives.

That said, in rare situations-such as duplicate donations or errors in the donation amount-MMC may review refund requests on a case-by-case basis.
